"About a year ago I new that it was time for me to do something about my implants as I have had them in for several years and I knew that I had calcifications. I did plenty of research online Dr Kasden had so many great reviews and so I made my first appointment with him. Dr Kasden is an amazing person , along with his receptionist Sharon , he sat me down in his office and talked with me for well over an hour talking about my situation . He was so kind and informative and it was decided that due to a parathyroid that I was having removed that we should wait for surgery. I walked out of his office and gave him a hug and thanked him for his time , he had set my mind at ease. Also he didn’t charge me a penny for his time!I did have my parathyroid removed this year and went back to Dr.Kasden but I was also having some problems with my breasts . Again he sat and talked with me about my situation and explained in detail what options I had depending on the outcome of my results. ( he spent well over an hour with me again of his precious time) . I waited on results and returned to his office for the third time asking more questions. He truly is a such a kind and caring person also with a great sense of humor . With my situation I am waiting on a final test result and if all comes back good then I without a doubt have all the confidence in Dr.Kasden to perform the surgery that I will need.Thank you Dr Kasden"- J.T. / Google / Jul 25, 2019
"I am a 41yrs old black female and this is my first plastic surgery experience (performed Friday and today is Monday morning). I did my homework on the abdominoplasty procedure for months and scheduled several consultations. I'm so lucky that Dr. Kasden was my first consultation. He literally spent 2 hours with me discussing the procedure and answering my questions. He allowed me to watch a video of his work and he even drew a diagram so that I could better understand the procedure. Sharon, the office manager was just as awesome and personable and she was always available to answer my questions whenever I called. Recovery was tough at first, but Dr. Kasden and the staff at Baylor Hospital in Irving were stellar in being attentive and ensuring my comfort. Not only do I recommend Dr. Kasden for plastic surgery, but I'm already researching my next procedure (I want to transfer my own fat into my breasts). I cant see myself going to another surgeon."- S.P. / Yelp / Jul 08, 2019

Sclerotherapy is best for patients who have small to medium blood vessels that are visible through the skin of their face and body. Typically, these spider veins are most prominent on the thighs and lower legs, so patients may avoid wearing shorts, swimsuits, or other clothing that don't cover their spider veins. Sclerotherapy patients should be in good general health before their treatment to avoid complications. Patients should not be pregnant or have a history of blood clots.
Sclerotherapy can be performed in one of our treatment rooms quickly and without any anesthesia. The spider veins being treated will be identified and the skin will be sanitized with alcohol. A fine gauge needle will be inserted into the vein and the sclerosing solution will be applied. The needle will be removed and a bandage will be applied to the injection site to stop any minor bleeding. This process will be repeated until all spider veins have been treated.
What to Expect
After sclerotherapy, you will be able to leave to resume all normal activities. You may notice some swelling, redness, or bruising in the treated areas, but this should subside naturally. Compression garments will be recommended by Dr. Kasden to help blood circulation after your treatment for faster, better results. It may take some time for the sclerosing solution to work, but eventually, the treated veins should shrink, turn white, and then fade or disappear. You may need two or more treatments to achieve optimal results, but most patients are pleased with their improvements after one treatment.
