Body Lift

By and large, body contouring procedures to correct the cosmetic defects remaining after massive weight loss (MWL) are modeled on classic cosmetic surgery procedures. The basic anatomy in an MWL (I will define as a weight loss of about 50 pounds, though others may have a different definition) patient is no different from a non-MWL patient. However, there are special considerations, and procedures must be modified to achieve optimum, safe results.
