The patient complained of deep frown lines (corrugator lines) and transverse brow wrinkles, asymmetrical position, and shape of the eyebrows, puffy eyelids, large pores, hollowing of the cheeks, jowls, prominent nasolabial folds, loose and sagging skin of the neck, and prominent platysma bands.
The patient underwent a "full facelift" including a brow lift, lower eyelid blepharoplasty, cheek lift with SMAS elevation and plication, and a neck lift with platysma elevation, trimming, and plication. Neck liposuction was also performed.
Postoperatively, the brow is smoother and less wrinkled. The eyebrows are more symmetrical and nicely shaped. With the eyebrows gently elevated, the upper eyelid skin redundancy has been eliminated without the need for an upper eyelid blepharoplasty.
The lower eyelid blepharoplasty eliminates the bagginess, and along with the cheek portion of the lift, the hollow lower portion of the eye socket has been improved, and the shape of the eyes is natural and more youthful.
The "hollowness" noted best on the quarter view has been corrected creating a youthful appearance with fullness of the cheekbones and elimination of the jowls. The labiomental folds (lower portion of the marionette lines) have been nicely smoothed out and the mouth and chin are natural and youthful.
Finally, the excess skin, fat, and lax platysma muscles have been corrected to create a youthful, sculpted neckline.
The patient healed without a problem and is happy
