This 23 year old Grapevine, TX patient complained that the breasts were so large and heavy that she was always physically uncomfortable, her posture was negatively affected, and she suffered from back, neck, and shoulder pain. She also complained of asymmetry, enlarged nipples and aureolae. Finding clothing that flattered her figure was impossible. The large breasts interfered with her sports activities and she needed to wear two bras. In short, she was miserable!

Case Details

The procedure was performed at Harris Methodist Hospital, Argyle, TX. A Wise pattern (keyhole/anchor) type reduction was used to perform the reduction mammoplasty (breast reduction) under general anesthesia.

The procedure was well tolerated and there were no complications. Post-op, the patient did develop a rash from a dressing change, but this resolved spontaneously. The post-op photos were taken early because the patient moved to Florida, where she is very happy, and relieved of all of her pre-op complaints.
