Mom Wants Perky Breasts-Again!
This patient wanted to restore her body to her pre-pregnancy state as much as possible.
The patient wanted her breasts to be smaller, perkier, and more proportioned so that her clothes and bathing suits would flatter her more youthful form.
This 30-year-old mother of two from #Colleyville, TX was unhappy with her breasts after bhebirth of her children. She complained that the breasts were too large and saggy. At the same time, she was also unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen and underwent a #tummytuck #abdominoplasty (i.e., a #mommymakeover).
The patient underwent an #anchor incision (#Wisepattern) incision type of breast lift to best achieve her goals.
The patient started with a #40DD #bra size, and post-operatively her bra size was a #38D. The #nipples and #areolas were elevated 9 cm (~ 3.5 inches) on the right and 7.5 (~3 inches) cm on the right. The amount of tissue removed was 256.6 gm (~.56 lbs) on the right and 180 gm (~.4 lbs) on the left. As a result of the weight reduction, the patient reported that her back/neck/shoulders were more comfortable throughout the day.
The patient also reported that she is very happy because she is now able to be more physically active and her clothes and bathing suits fit her in a more flattering way. The patient recovered following an unremarkable course.
Remember the patient is only three months #postop, so these are early results. Keep in mind that her appearance will improve for up to a year or longer as the surgical site continues to heal.
